Settings:
Using the k‑ε turbulence model, with air as the working fluid, an inlet velocity of 15 m/s, a turbulence intensity of 5%, and a turbulence viscosity ratio of 10, the simulation was performed for 1,000 iterations, as shown in Figure 1.
Result:
The pressure on the midsection and lower portion of the cylinder’s windward side is the greatest, with values ranging from approximately 0.7 to 4; the maximum pressure reaches 335 Pa. Pressure decreases gradually outward from the center, with the upper region experiencing the lowest pressures. The remaining surfaces are subjected to moderate pressures.
